Did you ever wonder how dive accidents occur? What are the little things that divers do all the time and get away with - except that one time? A Buddy Team is not a Buddy Team unless each diver is able to help the Buddy and themselves. Come and join us for an exciting 2 1/2 day hands-on program designed for divers of all certification levels. Learn how to save your buddy or another diver in a diving emergency, learn how to prevent accidents from occurring, and most important learn and practice how to save yourself. The Program: "Nothing happens 'til it happens". Accidents do not make appointments. You will participate in more than 15 hands-on, realistic first aid and dive accident scenarios. Stop wounds from bleeding, stabilize compound fractures, perform CPR, administer oxygen, perform basic field neurological evaluations of dive injuries, throw rescue bags, transport patients in and out of water, deal with gas bubble injuries, learn to recognize and deal with DCS, AGE, DCI, myocardial infarction, hypothermia, hyperthermia, dehydration, and much more.
All LGS instructors are international rescue trainers, noted public speakers, award winners, authors, instructors for CPR, Basic Life Saving, First Aid, EMT's, Oxygen Administration and Field Neurological Evaluation instructors, EMS, and designers of specialty programs for the Sport Diving and Public Safety Rescue Programs.
